September 2009 saw the airing of the 200th episode of Spicks and Specks on the ABC and as part of this event, attempted to cover 200 years of popular music in the episode. This involved Studio Ripple orchestrating a variety of popular tunes (including Nirvana and Outkast) to be played by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra – we were on-set at ABC’s Melbourne Studio for rehearsals and the show.
