A year in preparation, Studio Ripple was launched in the Skyroom of the Blackett Hotel in Sydney CBD on November 11th to a gathering of over one hundred guests.

Throughout the night, tours of the studio were given to interested guests (handy considering the studio was located just across the road on King Street) and there was lots of positive feedback. Thankfully no drinks were spilt on the console…

Guests included AFI award winning composer Christopher Gordon (Mao’s Last Dancer), director Andrew Lancaster (Accidents Happen), composer and AFTRS lecturer Edward Primrose and an assortment of industry professionals and fellow composers. Tunes were provided by DJ’s, G-Wiz and Johnny Says Aloha.
