Dan Baker has left for Los Angeles where he will be attending the prestigious ASCAP Television and Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis. Dan was one of twelve participants to be chosen from across the globe to attend the workshop, and is very excited at the opportunity to meet some of L.A.’s top composers, agents, studio executives and music supervisors. During the workshop participants are given the opportunity to write a 3 minute cue for a selected scene from a Hollywood film, and get it scored by an A-List Hollywood orchestra on a major studio film scoring stage.
This year the workshop is being covered by Variety.com, so for a day-to-day update of what the participants are doing visit www.variety.com.
